Fashion Is Life!

On Today’s episode of ‘Fashion is Life‘ – here’s to a moment of truth…

Since quitting my ‘corporate’ job, 60 or so days ago, things have not been going as I anticipated. But, that’s life. Right? In addition, with the recent passing of my Grandmother, going back to my hometown and being in the presence of all my family and friends (as I don’t visit often), I’m more scatter-brain than usual. More humble than before. More appreciative of everything. And, expressing myself in more ways. Spending less than 15 minutes in my closet comtemplating on what to wear for the day. Enjoying the free-style of a shirt worn backwards when I’m not in the mood to abide by anyone’s rules, which has totally been my attitude lately. Finally, letting my hair down and allowing my style to evolve – rather than going through my wardrobe with the feeling of ‘UGH!!!!! I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!’ all because it may or may not be in season. However, it’s definitely a reminder of how much my style is based on what I’m going through in life. So, yeah, patent faux leather oxfords, skinny high-waist jean with an open-back top to the front – makes sense in my book…
