When my girlfriends call and say, “meet us for brunch”… That doesn’t mean throw on my favorite pair of jeans with a tee and sneakers. What they’re really saying, “come out and play in your Sunday’s best”…

Oh how I love being in the company of ladies that brunch!

The different styles of dresses, skirts, and accessories that we all bring to the table with great conversations, gorgeous smiles, the bonding with one another and let’s not forget those bottomless Mimosas… You know, our own little ‘Sex in the City’ take…

Something I’ve learned from attending so many brunch/luncheons – always choose a look that can go from day to evening with a switch of a shoe or a twist of the skirt…

So, for my date with the girls, I chose this high-low flared skirt – that’s been hanging in my closet screaming, “wear me!” – popped a few buttons on my blouse to give it a slight plunge line (as I remembered I’m coming out to play) – while finishing the look with a statement necklace.

But here’s the real secret: I’m wearing my skirt backwards…
